Personality: Josefina is known to be quiet and mostly keeps to herself, but is a little more outgoing in thought and expression. On most occasions, she likes to read and create poetry, reciting it to anyone who is willing to listen and give her tips for improvement. She is sweet and respectful towards others, but only they are nice and respectful towards her and her family. She isn't afraid to speak out her mind and if something bothers her, she will easily pick a fight with anyone who tries to put her down and make her feel weak. She's very smart and attentive to many things around her, especially with details that seem odd or out of place. This allows her to see certain things that others can not. Like her other family members, she's also very protective of them and will fight anyone who threatens them.

Background Info: Josefina was the second born child to Ronaldo and Quetzalxochitl, being born three years after her older brother. From the moment she was born, she and her brother became inseparable and were always with one another wherever the family went. Whenever their mother needed help taking care of the baby, Nez was always there to help her out and take care of his baby sister and keep her safe. By the time she learned to walk and talk, Nez was there to encourage and support her along the way. She lived a very happy life with her family and learned a lot from her parents in being independent and well reserved.

As she grew older, she began to develop a passion for books; especially that of poetry after watching spending time with her father reading stories and poetry. Taking her passion, she decided to take it upon herself to make herself a famous poet one day; constantly writing poetry and reading it to those who would be willing to listen. Her most supportive audience was always in the form of her older brother, who often enjoyed listening to her creations and supporting her along the way. In turn when her brother came out to her and told her about his relationship with Miguel, Josefina was very supportive of his decisions and made sure that she was there for him whenever he needed her help. Nonetheless, she wasn't very fond of Miguel after getting to him better, seeing him as a selfish man that did not deserve her brother and the kindness he gave him. Still, even through her dislike towards Miguel, she remained supportive of her brother. When the two broke up, Josefina was the first person to help comfort her brother and help him feel better throughout the process, giving him reassurance that everything was going to be okay. 

However, when the day came that her brother mysteriously disappeared, she became shocked to hear such a thing as the day before he had vanished everything seemed to be alright. This also made her grow highly suspicious of the ordeal as she felt that there may have been foul play involved and that her brother did not truly disappear. Her suspicions were only fueled more when her cousin came to her after stating that the town was suspecting him of having to do something with Nez's disappearance. Despite them not getting along well with their uncle and cousin, she felt that the accusations towards him were rather off and uncalled for. With Marisol by her side, the two now have decided to take the case on their own hands to find the truth.

Quick Facts: 

-Josefina is closer to her father then she is with her mother. Despite loving both her parents dearly, she has spent more time with her father and as a result took after his tough personality and outspoken ways. 
-She is close to her mother, but isn't very fond of following entirely traditional ways like she does and prefers the more modern way of living.
